A 25-year-old graduate of the University of Port Harcourt has said he wants to donate his organs for free asking for his life to be taken due to frustration.
The young man who said this in an interview that was monitored on Nigeria Info FM, Port Harcourt on Monday, July 24, explained that he was tired of living because he had not been able to get a job since he left school about 4 years ago.
The young man blamed politicians in the country over the plight of the youth, adding that these politicians were only interested in enriching themselves and not improving the economy for people to get jobs.
He said he did not see a reason to continue living since he could not get a job after getting a degree and he could not pay his bills.
He therefore offered to donate his organs for free, asking that his life be taken for that purpose.
the level of unemployment in Nigeria is nothing to write home about. but suicide is not the solution
Hmmmm..i think those around him should try and talk him out of it because even if he decides to kill himself nothing would change he should engage in an entrepreneurship business . Also Government should create job opportunities for youths to reduce crime rate and also suicidal thoughts.
It is true that there is no job, but taking your life is not the best thing to do. Have faith because a living dog is better than a dead lion.
He is surfring from immaturity
If that’s the only solution to his problem. Waitn man go do kwannu… thyere are people who needs those organs to survive… nah only him suffer pass? His even a graduate of uniport thinking of taking his life what of those beggers outside the streets begging to sustain a living mmadu anasm gini. hmm
