World Egg Day 2018! Best Students In Visual Communication Get Eggs As Prize

Friday is World Egg Day and it is celebrated internationally to raise awareness on the nutritional value of eggs and why people should always eat them.

Stella Odike and Chioma Chikaogwu tied at first position as Best in Theatrical and Film Makeup

As part of efforts to celebrate the International event, students of the Department of Mass Communication, Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University (COOU) who were outstanding in Visual/Non Verbal Communication practical activities were given Eggs as prize for their achievements.

Chinos Chikaogwu received five eggs and one big coconut as overall best in Visual/Non Verbal Communication Communication

Well, it wasn’t just eggs. They were given eggs and coconut as prizes for their outstanding performance.

The award was given by massmediang, an online news platform which celebrates excellence in mass communication studies using agricultural products.

Best students in Communicative Dance Choreography

The students embarked on a competition to communicate meaningfully through costumes, makeup and communicative choreographic dance. Those who excelled were honoured on Tuesday, at the Francis Oladele stand on Igbariam campus of the University.

Other winners

Though the World Egg Day is on Friday October 12, the celebration was marked a bit earlier to raise awareness before the actual date.
