Woman Arrested For Attempting To Rape 14-Year-Old Boy

A 45-year-old woman has been arrested for attempting to rape her neighbour’s 14-year-old son.

The incident took place in Andhra Pradesh’s Vijayawada , India.

Family members of the victim had alleged that the woman was a widow who has been living alone for the last seven years, and was their neighbour too.

They reported the matter to the police and the woman was booked under Protection Of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.

The sexual abuse allegedly took place in Vambay colony in Vijayawada on May 5 but it was only on Friday that the victim’s mother reported the incident to the police.

The victim in his statement claimed the woman had first forced him to commit the actin May. His mother then caught the woman trying to rape the boy on the 7th of June and reported the matter to the police.

India is said to be the World’s rape capital but that is in relation to incidents of rape against women. This one is a bit strange.
