This is not just any other tree. There’s a reason why this bank cannot touch the tree. The tree is over 500 years old and exists in Warri kingdom, Delta State, Nigeria. It is an ancestral tree that is revered by residents of Okere community in Warri. There is a very serous reason why the tree MUST be left to stand as a result of which it had to be enclosed in the perimeter fencing of a microfinance bank in that community.
