This is because recently, the internet was awash with news and pictures from the burial ceremony of the mother of this popular Nigerian businessman and socialite, Obi Iyiegbu, popularly known as Obi Cubana. Obi Cubana, who lost his mother in December 2020, laid her to rest on July 16th 2021 in Oba, Anambra state. The burial, which was attended by hordes of Nigerian celebrities from the business and entertainment space lit up the small, otherwise quiet town of Oba in Anambra state in a massive carnival that lasted for several days. Obi Cubana and his rich friends put up a formidable show, drawing crowds of people from different parts of the country, including friends who had to fly in from outside the country.
