The term Digital Terrestrial Television (DTTV or DTT) refers to a technology for broadcast television which makes it possible for land-based (terrestrial) television stations to broadcast television content by radio waves to televisions in consumers’ residences in a digital format. This technology makes it possible for viewers to receive high quality video and audio signals better than an analog TV.
