A video has surfaced online showing the moment two herbalists allegedly hired by a football team in Niger Republic, AS Douanes, poured blood on their Nigerian opponents, Kwara United FC, as the players were about entering the field for a crucial match.
The video showed the two herbalists, 1 with keg of blood and the other with goat, performing the act when the players were coming down from the bus.
Kwara United were in Niger Republic for the second leg of their CAF Confederation Cup match against AS Douanes after winning the first leg 3-0.
The game eventually ended in nil-nil with Kwara United progressing to the next state of the tournament.
It was not yet known whether Kwara United FC had reported the incident to CAF.
