Watch as Two-Storey Building Collapses in Onitsha After Heavy Downpour (Video)

A two-storey building on Wednesday, September 11, collapsed in Onitsha, Anambra State after a downpour in the area. Watch the shocking moments captured on camera.

An eyewitness said no life was lost in the incident.

The Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Haruna Mohammed, confirmed the incident.

While corroborating our source that no life was lost in the disaster, Mohammed said the Commissioner of Police in the state, John Abanh, had visited the scene.

He said the building was located on No 22 Nkisi Aroli street, Onitsha and belonged to one Chukwuma Njeka.

Mohammed said, “The building collapsed today (Wednesday) due to downpour.

“No casualty recorded and value of property damaged is yet to be ascertained.

“Scene was cordoned off by the Police to prevent looters from taking advantage and to clear the rubble.
