US Rapper FBG Cash Shot Dead In Chicago, Female Companion In Critical Condition (Video)

Chicago-based rapper, FBG Cash was shot and killed in Chicago, on Friday morning June 10.

The deceased rapper whose music focused on money, violence, and threats against challengers, died at the age of 31.

ABC7 Chicago reported that the rapper, real name Tristian Hamilton, was fatally shot inside a vehicle at around 5:32 a.m. in the Auburn Gresham neighborhood’s 1600 block of West 81st Street. The shooters were in a four-door black sedan. They reportedly stopped, got out, and opened fire on the FBG Cash vehicle. They then drove away from the scene.

The unidentified 29-year-old female victim sustained gunshot wounds to the left arm and upper back, according to ABC7 Chicago. She was transferred to Advocate Christ Medical Center and is now in critical condition.

Detectives are currently investigating the shooting, although they are yet to identify a suspect or take anyone into custody. A motive for the killing remains unclear.

FBG Cash dropped his debut album The Heart of the Streets in January 2021. He was scheduled to release a new song and video called “Crazy Lane” on Friday. Before his death he was known as one of the best drill rappers in Chicago.

Cash’s death comes less than two years after fellow FBG rapper FBG Duck was gunned down in broad daylight in Chicago in August 2020. The murder suspects were ID’d as members of O-Block, a rival Chicago gang.

Deadline reports that FBG Cash was a member of Chicago’s Fly Boy Gang [FBG], also called the Clout Boyz or “tooka gang.” It features fellow rappers Lil Jay, Wooski, Billionaire Black, Young Mello, FBG Dutchie and the late FBG Duck, who was killed in 2020.

The latest music video from FBG Cash, titled “Intro,” came out just two weeks ago.
