Universities In Nigeria Approved by NUC For Postgraduate Programme

Several universities in Nigeria offer both undergraduate and post graduate programmes. What is a bit worrisome is that a number of universities that offer post graduate education do not have depth pedigree to give the best at this level, even if they have accreditation from  National Universities Commission (NUC) to run such programmes. Well, if you’re interested in obtaining a postgraduate degree, you need to make enquiries before enrolling in the programme. There are very good schools scattered across the country that can offer you valid certificate in postgraduate degrees of your choice. Again, we advise that you make enquiries before enrolling in any institution for postgraduate programme. You should premise your decision on factors such as speed/programme duration, staff strength/quality for PG programme, fees, facilities, and academic staff attitude to work. Possibly you could consider proximity, depending on the kind of employment you have. You will be shocked that you might spend donkey years studying a programme meant to last for 18 months due to anybody these factors. Ask questions before picking up the PG form. Don’t get too excited and end up flying down a bottomless academic pit.
