Abba is located in Njikoka local Government Area in Anambra State which is different from the one located in Nwangele local Government Area in Imo State, which most people don’t know.
Moving round the community it was observed that Abba is rich in agriculture and blessed with fertile land which distinguish them from their neighbouring towns.
There is also a market place located at the entrance of the community known as Oye Abba which operate during one of the four market days in Igbo land known as “Oye” , this market is a place where agricultural products are been sold such as Akidi tomatoes yam rice e. t. c. It is been patronised by people from different communities in Anambra state such as Abagana Ukpo , Akwuzu e. t. c, in an interview with one of the Indigenes of the community Mrs Blessing Okeke, it was discovered that Oye Abba start at 7 in the morning and end by 1 pm.
Moving further into the community it was observed that the two major popular churches there known as St. Paul’s catholic and St. Augustine Anglican church is located at the center of the community. History has it that the Anglican Church was founded in 1918.
Above all, it was gathered that Abba is a home of hospitality which Means is a place for visitors,strangers to stay and feel at home.
