Born in 1966, Chris Abani is a very popular Nigerian-born novelist with a net worth of approximately $1.5 Million.
The author who is from Ebonyi state is most popular for his debut novel, Masters of the Board, and for his 1987 novel, Sirocco.

He filled in as the President of the Nigerian senate and was Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF) during the Goodluck Jonathan administration.
Anyim Pius was chosen Senator on the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) platform in 1999 for the Ebonyi South constituency of Ebonyi State.
In August 2000, he was chosen Senate President after Chuba Okadigbo was impeached. He held the office until May 2003.
In May 2011, Pius Anyim was delegated as Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF).

SAM EGWU
Born on 20 June 1954, Sam Ominyi Egwu is a Nigerian politician and former governor of Ebonyi State with a net worth of $9 Million.
He was the senior lecturer at Enugu State University of Technology (ESUT) Enugu and served as commissioner for education in Ebonyi state.
He was also appointed Minister of Education by President Umaru Yar’Adua In 2008.
He held the position till April 2010 when he was replaced by Professor Ruqayyah Ahmed Rufa’i.
In 2015, he effectively contested and won the senatorial seat for Ebonyi North Senatorial Zone on the foundation of the People’s Democratic Party.
Also, he was the former Senate committee chairman of the industry from June 2015 to June 2019.
