10. Bernard Nwatu – Love 99.9 FM, Enugu
Bernard Nwatu popularly known as Ben, is a media personality with vast experience in both radio and television programming. He had his first stint with the media at ESBS Enugu where he presented programmes on ETV Channel 50 and Sunrise 96.1 FM. He has worked in two other radio stations, Love fm 103.9 Umuahia and Love FM 99.9 Enugu, where he was the Head of News.
9. Onyinye Ugwu – 92.5 Dream FM, Enugu
Onyinye Ugwu aka ‘pino pino’ is a popular OAP among listeners in Enugu and environs. She studied Mass Communication at Enugu State University. She anchors ‘Life na eme’ and also reads Igbo news at 92.5 Dream FM. She began as an Industrial Training (IT) student but was eventually engaged because of her exceptional performance.
Queen Qui – Urban Radio 94.5 FM
Queen Qui is not just one of the hottest female OAPs in Enugu, she also has the sexiest voice on air. Even if she is reading news you can’t miss the infectious sexiness of her voice which keeps you close to your radio set until she is off air. Queen is the host of Urban Fuse on Urban Radio 94.5 FM. The programme comes up from 11am-4pm daily. Her characteristic British accent gives her a unique on-air personality which is largely responsible for Urban Radio Enugu’s expanding audience base. 7. Lyrics Moemeke – Dream 92.5 FM
Lyrics Moemeke is a natural comedian and was born and raised in Lagos, Nigeria. He embodies the character of a typical Yoruba man. He is actually from Delta state and is the host of Dream fm’s Tuesday pidgin-english program “Area”. He is also the Assistant Director of music at the station. Despite his seemingly unserious persona, Lyrics is well-read. He has a first degree from mass communication and his second degree is in law both from the prestigious University of Nigeria, Nsukka.
6. Emmanuel Anyanso – Dream 92.5 FM
Emmanuel Anyanso is from Amokwe Item in Bende LGA, Abia state. He is popularly known as OBJ and is the anchor of the Saturday afternoon show called ‘Comfam house” as well as the Sunday Old-School show “Golden Era” both on Dream Fm, Enugu. He is an up-coming artist though he has been in the game for more than a decade. He is famous for his hit songs “Afiam nere”.
5. Osarogie Ogbomnwan – Solid FM, Enugu
Osarogie Ogbomnwam popularly known as Radio’s Big Brother, has successfully carved a space for himself as an OAP. His rich baritone voice buzzes straight to the soul every morning on Prime time press on urban radio. The young OAP who was brought up in Benin has quite an influence on the young people. 4. Pure Gold Ezechi – Coal City FM
Gold Ezechi is from Nachi in Udi local government. He is the anchor of the Wednesday morning breakfast show and ‘Sound’ on Friday from 1:30pm to 2:00pm. He is currently with coal city FM.
3. Stephanie Azinge – 92.5 Dream FM Enugu
Stephanie Azinge, aka Duches popularly known as Oma is a graduate of English language from Nnamdi Azikwe university (Unizik). She is a journalist in 92.5 Enugu dream fm and anchors a popular program ‘Window express’ which comes on from 11am to 1 pm. She first started at Unizik Fm before moving to dream FM. She was given Media personality of the year award on the 25th of April, 2018. She is also a brand influencer.
2. Jideofor Egbucha – Coal City FM Enugu
Jideofore Egbucha is from Ogbeotu in Onitsha north local government area and is the anchor of the afternoon show called ‘Lunch box’. He also handles countdown show topic hour (Yap away) and the popular ‘Do U Know’. He also has a Friday night show called Big Beat. He was once with Ray Power Enugu, Sunrise FM Enugu and started his first radio career iat 88.9 Brila Fm Lagos. his currently at coal city fm Enugu.

1. Jude Thomas Dawam – Dream 92.5 FM, Enugu.
At number one is Jude Thomas Longtong Dawam, born in Lagos but from Pankshi local government area of Plateau State. Jude is a Graduate of Pharmacy From University of Jos but fell in love with radio broadcasting in 2007. He started with Vision FM Radio in Abuja before he moved to Kiss FM. Jude finally moved to Dream 92.5 FM Enugu where he hosts the DreamBreakfastClub Show and currently the Head of Programmes at the station. Jude also doubles as Alhaji Tanko on the satirical program called One Nigeria Show. He is a household name in Enugu and environs.
