Nigerian Disc Jockey, DJ Switch has reacted to the Lagos Panel of Inquiry’s report on the Lekki Tollgate which indicted Nigerian forces.
It would be recalled that on October 20, 2020, DJ Switch live-streamed the shooting of unarmed EndSARS protesters by the Nigerian in the Lekki Tollgate.
She also exposed that many people were killed during the protest.
After her life was threatened by the Nigerian Government, the activist travelled out of Nigeria and go into hiding.
One year later, the Judicial Panel of Inquiry on EndSARS, in its 309-page report submitted to Lagos Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Monday, referred to the Lekki Tollgate shooting of dissidents on October 20, 2020, as “manslaughter”.
The panel indicted officers and Nigerian security agents in the killing and forced disappearances of unarmed youths protesting at the Lekki Tollgate.
Reacting to this new development, DJ Switch pointed out how authorities shattered so many lives and tried to destroy her just to hide the truth only for the truth to be revealed by them.
She wrote via Twitter;
”Shattered so many lives, tried to destroy mine. Only for what you desperately tried to hide to be made public… by you! The truth needs no defense! #EndSARS.”
