SUG Week: Governor’s Aide Charges Students on Effective Diplomacy

Written by Somto Ezenwajiugo

The Senior Special Adviser (SSA) to the Anambra State Governor on youth mobilization, Hon. Tony Uche has charged students of Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University (COOU) to embark on effective diplomacy and activism if they need the government to address their needs in due time.

Hon.Uche said this in a seminar organised by the Students Union Government (SUG) of the university held, Monday, April 24, to mark the beginning of the institution’s students week.

Hon. Uche emphasized that without proper adoption of effective diplomacy to pressurize the government on matters concerning them such as school fees, hostel accommodation, the government may not be fast in implementing policies that will bring about better learning conditions for the students because it has a lot of agenda on its table.
