Senator Andy Uba Visits Victims of Ozubulu Massacre at Unizik Teaching Hospital, Supports their Medical Bills (Photos)

Condemnations have continued to trail the killing of innocent worshipers yesterday at St. Phillip’s Catholic Church, Ozubulu, Ekwusigo Local Government Area of Anambra State. Also prominent Nigerians are condoling with victims and their family members.

The latest personality to visit victims receiving treatment at Nnamdi Azikiwe University Teaching Hospital, Nnewi,and Access Specialist Hospital Nnewi, is Senator Andy Uba. The Senator was visibly disgusted by the incident and condemned the attackers for engaging in the act. Senator Uba who was very emotional, also donated an undisclosed amount of money to add to the treatment of the victims.

In a statement issued by his media aide, Joseph Itazi, Sen. Uba said that people of Anambra were not known for such violence.

He called on the commissioner of Police and the state governor to ensure that the perpetrators of such dastardly act were brought to book.

  2. It has been unveiled that the Governor of Anambra state dines with this south Africa based fellow that brought up this havoc. The fellow even took it upon himself to construct the road to that church. So tell me how the governor Will punish the perpetrators of this massacre as he promised. Or is he going to jeopardize his friendship with the fellow? it’s high time politicians in Nigeria thought twice about their actions because when two elephants fight it is the grass that suffers
