Mary Slessor Memorial Secondary School, Arochukwu is over 100 years old. This is a special place as it was the exact same spot where Mary Slessor herself had a school where she kept the twins she was saving before the killing of twins was abolished in Nigeria. In this video you will see what the old buildings look like today. Mary Slessor had a small school where he kept and trained the twins she saved before the killing of twins was abolished in Igboland. That same place in Arochukwu, Abia State Nigeria was eventually turned into Mary Slessor Memorial Secondary School after her death in 1915.
