Sanusi orders probe into immorality at Kano viewing centre

The Emir of Kano, Muhammad Sanusi (II), has directed the Kano State Hisbah Board to investigate the alleged immorality by youths of Badawa, Kawo, Sauna and Haye in the Nassarawa Local Government Area of Kano State at a football viewing centre.

The residents of the areas had complained to the monarch that the viewing centre, which was opened by one Anwulu Sankara, had become “a platform for immoral and criminal acts.”

The residents, led by one Mohammed A-Hassan, further alleged that the sale and consumption of illegal substances, is also prevalent at the centre.

While earlier addressing the crowd, the Emir directed the Hisbah Board to investigate the allegations and bring the culprits to book.

People are always in the habit of turning something that was initially of a particular purpose into something else, that is why it is always good that rules and regulation are set and ensured that they are adhered to,proper investigation should be done and the culprits brought to book.
