Sad News Hits Davido, Popular Artist Shot Dead as Teni, Donjazzy and Others Beg for Money(VIDEO)

Wema Bank has restricted the account of Nigerian singer, David’s Wema Bank account reportedly restricted after over N150 million got deposited, hours after it was opened.

It would be recalled that the singer posted the account number and requested that his friends and those who benefited from him should N100 million naira.

He was left in shock after receiving over N150m as at the time of filing this report.


Due to an overflow of millions of money in one day, Davido’s account was restricted.

This implies that he can’t withdraw any money from the account.

Most times, banks place an account on Post-No- Debit [PND] which is basically an instruction not to allow any withdrawals or transfers from the bank account of account owners, essentially blocking the account from outflows. It is usually drastic a measure taken to reclaim any illegal inflow into an account.

Given the inflow of money that went into Davido’s account yesterday, it is quite understandable why his account was placed on PND.




U.S Rapper Yong Dolph Shot Dead at Cookie Shop.

Popular America rapper Young Dolph has been pronounced dead after he was shot dead by a lone gunman on Wednesday in Memphis Tennessee.

According to reports, the 36 years old music star was shot dead outside a local business Makeda’s Butter Cookie on Aireways Blvd.

A vehicle had approached him and someone fired the shot at him.

Confirming the sad incident, Maurice Hill, the owner of Makeda’s told the outlets that Young Dolph had entered his place of business to buy cookies.

His death evoked memories of the fatal shooting of rapper Nipsy Hussie in Los Angeles in March 2019.

The Memphis Police Department issued a statement asking for information on the shooter, without identifying the victim as Young Dolph.

“Officers are on the scene of a shooting at 2370 Airways. One male victim was located and was pronounced dead. No suspect information is available at this time.

The victim will be identified once the next of kin notification has been completed.‘please call 901-528-CASH with tips”.

Young Dolph [ne Adolph Robert Thornton Jr. broke onto the scene in 2016 with his debut album King of Memphis.

The music star who was best known for his feature on the 2015 O.T Genasis hit ‘Cut it’, continued to churn out at least one album each year.





Don Jazzy, Teni, P-square and others emulate singer, Davido beg for money.

Nigerian music producer and Mavin boss, Don Jazzy, Teni and newly reconciled brothers, P-square have announced their plan to follow Davido’s footsteps ahead of their birthdays.

It would be recalled that Davido asked his colleagues and those he have helped in one way or the other to send N1m each to him in order to raise N100m to clear his Rolls Royce at the port.

In the video posted on his Instagram story Davido said;

“We rise by lifting others abi? Me I don dey rise dey lift others for the past 100 years.
So I want to know who my friends are. All of my friends one million Naira each’”

Hours later, the music star received over N150m from donations from his friends. This came as a shock to many.

Reacting to this, Don Jazzy, Teni and some other celebrities took to their respective Instagram page to request for their friends and fans to donate on their birthdays.

Teni requested at least N250, 000 each from Tiwa Savage, Simi, Yemi Alade and her friends.



Nollywood actor and host of Gulder Ultimate Search, Remi shared his account details on his Instagram page writing;

“If I have made you laugh at my Tiktoks at all, send me money. You cannot unlaugh all the laughs.”
