Owerri, the Imo State capital will be hosting the global grand finale of Miss Global Orient Advocate in October 2017.
The event will be witnessing about 30 beauty queens from across the world.
The event is powered by Miss Orient Foundation Worldwide, an organisation that has put together pageantry of the Orient brand, including Miss Orient Nigeria.
Founder and President of Miss Orient Foundation Worldwide, Charles Umege, said in an interview that the event promises to be explosive and exciting.
He said the Foundation decided to bring the event to Owerri because the city is an emerging tourist attraction in the country, with remarkable hospitality that suits a worldwide event.

Umege who is a journalist and publisher of Frontier Magazine,Nigeria, also noted that the event also includes award giving of Millennium Supremacy Award which is an annual award given to personalities that have distinguished themselves in areas of innovative programmes and policies that affect life of the girl child positively.
“We are also inviting top comedians and music artists in the country to make the atmosphere lively on that day,” he added.
Miss Orient Foundation Worldwide is a front-line international beauty pageant organization with a vision to re-orientate the global girl child out of social vices of prostitution, lesbianism, exam malpractice drug addiction etc.. It also embarks on massive girl-child reorientation campaigns in Nigeria. The organisation also has international magazine and modelling outfit in her stable.
