Over 50 Students Renounce Cultism In COOU

Over 50 students of Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University (COOU), have renounced their membership of secret cults in the institution.

The cult renunciation exercise took place on Wednesday, May 2, the the Igbariam campus of the university during the interactive session between the Vice Chancellor of the institution, Professor Greg Nwakoby and the students’ community.

Prof. Nwakoby, expressed his happiness over the event, adding that he now believed his posting to COOU was the will of God.

He then advised students to shun exam malpractice, cultism and other vices.
