Obiano’s Wife Campaigns in COOU, Promises to Empower Students through her NGO

Gov. Obiano’s wife, Ebele at ETF hall of COOU, venue of her meeting with students

The wife to the Governor of Anambra state, Mrs. Ebele Obiano, on Monday 23 October visited the Chukwuemeka Odumegu Ojukwu University (COOU) Igbariam campus, as part of re-election campaign for her husband.
Mrs. Obiano who introduced her Non Governmental Organization (NGO) to the students, promised to empower more of them to facilitate their education.
Her NGO (Caring Family Enhancement initiative) has empowered over 3,000 graduates and built houses for widows across the State.

In an interview with massmediang, the Chairman of Oyi Local Government Area of the state, Honourable Charles Uche Okafor, said the governor ‘s wife’s visit was to socialize with the students and introduce her initiative to the university.
“The government of Willie Obiano has improved the Welfare of Ndi Anambra and even this institution is benefiting from him in terms of infrastructure. His government has changed the security situation in the state as the state is the most safe state to live in Nigeria, “ he said.
