Obi Cubana’s first son, Alex, wins six awards in school

The name Obi Cubana has become a household name in West Africa and beyond. This is definitely based on the chains of businesses owned by this socialite, Obi Iyiegbu, popularly known as Obi Cubana. Some people may have heard about his wife Ebele Iyiegbu who is also doing well as a lawyer, event planner, and owner of an impressive foundation that cares for the less privileged in the society.

What many do not know is that Obi Cubana has a son who is also excelling in his school, and probably following the footsteps of his father by conquering territories early in life. His name is Alex Iyiegbu, the first of four sons in Obi and Ebele Iyiegbu’s family.

Alex’s mother, Ebele, took to her Instagram page sometime in 2019 to reveal the achievements of her son within seven years of his life. The information she provided showed that Alex had won series of outstanding awards as a young boy, and this impressed his mother and made her very proud. According to her, Alex had bagged 6 notable awards from his school.

The story showed that Alex had excelled in a debate competition, coming out with the first position. He was also recognized for best effort in Arts. He also had a high performance platinum award, best student in Music and recognized for leadership skills.

Sharing photo of her son holding his certificates sometime in 2019, Ebele wrote: “Alex bagged 6 awards and exited year 7 in style”. Here are the awards and recognized of Alex which were listed by his mother, Ebele;

1) First position in DWC debate

2) Best effort in Arts (year )

3) High Performance platinum Award

4) Tayo Aderinokun Leadership Award (with an iPad)

5) Best student in Music ( year 7)

6) HPL art competition

 

It is clear that Alex is following the footsteps of his father by excelling in his school. When you hear in future that one of Obi Cubana’s sons is managing his empire successfully, don’t be surprised.
