German police authorities have said no member of Indigenous People of Biafra(IPOB) was arrested over the beating of Senator Ike Ekweremadu in Germany last weekend.
This followed reports that some members of the group were arrested and will be prosecuted according to German laws.
A social media user posted the message below;
“BREAKING! #IPOB has the FUNDAMENTAL RIGHT to demonstrate, There was NO ARREST, NO INVESTIGATION, #EKWEREMADU’s case is CLOSED! – German POLICE”

The police authority was heard telling channels tv that it just a
demonstration against the lawmaker and when police arrived , they noticed it was nothing much.
When pressed further if there would be any arrest, he replied that there will be no arrest, no investigation of any sort, that the case is closed.
