Nigerian Man In Canadian University Drowns During Excursion

A young Nigerian student identified as Chuck Ozulumba studying in a Canadian University has repeatedly drowned during an excursion with his colleagues.

The 23-year-old man who was a student of Wilfrid Laurie University drowned on the 6th of July inside Ottawa River near Renfrew, Ontario.

Ozulumba was preparing to enter his fourth year as a Bachelor of Business Administration student at the Lazaridis School of Business and Economics on Laurier’s Waterloo campus before the tragedy struck.

He was on a weekend excursion with other students at the time of his death, reports The Cord.

The deceased was swimming when he went underwater. He was found and pulled to shore, where CPR was started. Paramedics arrived and took him to hospital, but he was pronounced dead a short time later.
