Who is Ngozi Ezeuduma?
Ngozi Onwuka-Ezeuduma, popularly known as NG-Khalela, is a multi-talented sportscaster, analyst, On-Air Personality (OAP) and motivational speaker. She is the Head of Sports Cool/Wazobia/Info Port Harcourt, Rivers State Nigeria.
Ngozi is the fourth in a family of five, born to parents from Isiala Ngwa, Abia State, Nigeria. She grew up in Lagos State where she had her primary and secondary education. She grew up as a lively young girl whose friends were always happy to identify with. Her jovial and easy-going nature was also reflected in her university days as she was popular for featuring in entertainment shows. As a university student she performed rap music on stage to the delight of many students on campus. Ngozi detests dull moments and this trait is what she displays in the unique way she excites her listeners on radio while presenting a programme.
Reports (shared by one of her colleagues during a sports programme) have it that decades ago, Ngozi’s mother went to watch a game between Rangers International Football Club of Enugu and another team while she was pregnant and guess who she was carrying inside her? Yes you guessed right, … it was Ngozi. So Ngozi even started attending sports events while an unborn child. Today she has grown to become one of the leading female sportscasters in Nigeria.
Ngozi is one of the most educated sports OAPs in Nigeria having studied up to postgraduate level in a bid to satisfy her desire to get formal education up to a high level. She had her secondary education at Federal Government Girls’ College, Sagamu, after which she gained admission for her first degree programme at the University of Nigeria, Enugu Campus (UNEC). She then proceeded to the University of Nottingham, UK, where she earned an MBA degree.
Ngozi’s career as a sports presenter at Cool/Wazobia/Info FM glitters with passionate dedication to duty and impressive understanding of the terrain where she plies her trade. Her understanding of sports, especially the game of football has continued to increase the audience base of Nigeria Info 92.3 FM, Port Harcourt, where she is popular for her sports programmes.
Ngozi is the Head of the Sports team (The Sports Gang), a team of analysts with depth understanding of diverse sporting events. She also hosts or co-hosts morning and evening sports shows (Sports Drive and Extra Time), including weekend Sports/Football Frenzy shows.
NG-Khalela is not the usual sports presenter you listen to on radio.
