Following the clamour for by N-Power Batch C beneficiaries for payment of their October and November stipends, the Federal Government has come up with updates on when the payments would be made. This is coming amidst reports in the social media that a specific date had been given for the payment which has been denied by the National Social Investment Management System (NASIMS).
Recall that Batch beneficiaries also embarked on massive protest in Abuja over unpaid stipends. The federal government has come up with reactions on this delayed payment and purported date of commencement of payment flying and in the media.
N- Payment managers have stated that they are unable to provide exact dates for payment of October and November stipends but have given assurance that payments will begin soon, according to reports by VON News.
NASIMS further explains that the method of payment takes time because it when a beneficiaries account is verified, the administrator sends such information to the CBN which distributes stipends to banks for payment to beneficiaries.
