N2k Naked Poverty Runner! “He is Not Our Student”, – PRO of COOU

The Public Relations Officer (PRO) of Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University (COOU), Comrade Festus Ntomchukwu, has dissociated the institution from a young man seen in a video circulating on the social media, running naked for a bet of N2,000 (two thousand naira).

Ntomchukwu who spoke exclusively to massmediang.com said the student was not of COOU, adding that the school was investigating the online video to get to the root of the matter.

According to him, “We have noticed a video circulating in the social media showing a boy running naked. We are also reading that the boy is a student of our institution. I wish to make it clear now that the boy is not our student. We are not training animals. The video did not even mention that the boy is our student. That not withstanding, we do not know the boy shown in that video. I can tell you that our students are among the best behaved in the entire country. We are still investigating the video to get to the root of the matter.”

It could be recalled that a video showing a boy running naked in what looked like an entrance to an institution has been circulating online with speculations that the boy is a student of COOU. Reports have it that the boy had a bet with another student that he could run naked in the school premises for N2,000. He accomplished the task and was said to have received the money.
