Liverpool star Mohamed Salah breaks Premier League goals record with strike against Brighton to surpass Cristiano Ronaldo and Luis Suarez

Liverpool winger Mohamed Salah has broken the Premier League goals record with his 32nd strike in Liverpool’s final game of the season against Brighton and Hove Albion.

Salah’s record-setting goal came in the 26th minute, when he shot first time on the turn in the penalty area after a neat forward pass by Dominic Solanke.

The Egyptian has surpassed the long-standing record of 31 goals, which was jointly held by Alan Shearer (1995-96), Cristiano ROnaldo (2007-08) and former Liverpool striker Luis Suarez (2013-14).

It could be recalled that Salah won the Premier League Player Of The Year Award, PFA Player Of The Year And Football Writers’ Association Footballer Of The Year Awards.
