As the rising cost of living in Nigeria bites harder, a professor of law in one of the country’s federal universities has lamented over how the worsening state of things is affecting her.
The professor took to Twitter to ask questions about the direction Nigeria is headed in after she spent N40K to put diesel in her car.
The woman identified from her twitter account as professor Joy Ezeilo explained that as a law professor, she earns N400K a month and has to spend N40K to fuel her car in a week and approximately N200K in a month.
She highlighted other bills she has to pay out of her monthly salary.
She explained that with how things are going in the country, the World Bank prediction that many Nigerians will become poor is about to become a reality.
