The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) declared a sit-at-home order today across the South East geopolitical zone of Nigeria. The group said it was to mark the invasion of their leader Nnamdi Kanu’s home sometime last year by Soldiers, among other reasons.
The sit-at-home order received total compliance in some cities especially commercial cities, but it was partially observed in some other cities, especially state capitals.
