Only about 2000 fans showed up on Thursday at Nou Camp to watch the unveiling of Paulinho by Barcelona FC.
The club had signed the Brazilian earlier this week from Chinese side Guangzhou Evergrande for £36.5million apparently in a desperate gasp to begin to fill in the gap left by Neyma’s exit.
As is tradition with Barcelona and Real Madrid with a big-name signing, the new arrival takes to the pitch for some photos in his new shirt.
To make it a bit more exciting they are handed a ball and usually go about showing off a few skills with some kick ups.
And with the world watching, the former Tottenham star managed just three touches before losing control of the ball.
That was a bit embarrassing as numerous fans took to social media to point out that ‘disturbing’ error.
May be Paulinho is not exactly the kind of player fans expect Barcelona FC to be signing as a result of which only 2000 people came to see what a player coming from the Chinese league to play for the club looks like.
