Horror! Pregnant Woman Sets Self, Husband Ablaze One Month After Wedding

Tragedy struck in Sabon Gari area of Kano when a pregnant woman set her husband and herself ablaze in Kano over alleged infidelity.

The incident which took place in their N0 54 Middle Road residence, was said to have occurred around 12am early Tuesday morning, May 30. The woman was reported to have lit a petrol keg which exploded, engulfing herself and the husband , leading to her death on the spot while the husband died later in the hospital after suffering severe burns.

Reports have it that the woman who had only wedded her husband a few weeks earlier had heard a telephone conversation between her husband and an unidentified as a result of which she accused the man of infidelity. This led her to set herself and the man on fire.

An eyewitness reported that the couple had wedded five weeks ago, adding that the deceased man had told him (eyewitness) that his mother had imposed the woman on him. The eyewitness further said the woman’s pregnancy was about 7 months old and that the couple hailed from Anambra State.

No one could establish whether it was the telephone conversation or the alleged imposed marriage that led to the unresolved dispute that brought about the death of  the couple.

Nawoo!!! what could be the reason why the woman have to set herself and the husband ablaze even with the unborn child.
this is totally wickedness.whatever that might be the cause did the woman ever think of the innocent child, she could consider the baby first before the evil thought of hers.
May their soul rest in peace.
