Good News! SSANU, NASU, NAAT call off strike

Normal activities will resume in Universities across the nation as striking non-teaching staff of Nigerian universities early Thursday morning, the Joint Action Committee of the unions has called off the two weeks old strike following an agreement reached by the Federal Government.

Members were, therefore, directed to resume duties on Monday, September 25.

Sunonline reports that JAC Chairman, Samson Ugwuoke, who addressed the press in Abuja, said they are giving government one month grace to monitor implementation of the terms of agreement.
