Ghanaian Masked Journalist, Anas, Commends Anambra Varsity Lecturer for Doing This

Ghanaian masked investigative reporter, Ana Aremeyew Anas, has commended a lecturer in the department of Mass Communication, Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University (COOU), formerly Anambra State University, for adopting impressive teaching techniques in training students on the rudiments of investigative journalism in today’s world.

Anas expressed his feelings through a telephone call he made to the lecturer, Dr. Chinenye Nwabueze, after the Ghanaian journalist saw photos of an Anas themed quiz the lecturer did with his students.

The Ghanaian journalist of international fame had seen some of the ‘Anas Quiz’ photos which one of the students posted on the journalist’s Facebook wall.

On seeing the photos, Anas requested to know the University where that teaching techniques was adopted and also demanded to know the lecturer.

He then called Dr. Nwabueze on phone, commending him for the teaching techniques and expressing delight over the fact that a University in Africa had adopted such a method in training students on investigative reporting.

According to Anas: “This is what I see abroad everytime. The schools abroad adopt this teaching technique but you hardly see it in Africa.”

He promised to keep in touch with the lecturer with a view to contributing what he can, to the training of students of the department.
