With all the drama that began as joke, has however yielded huge sum of money into the bank account of the popular Nigerian superstar, Davido, A.KA “Omo Baba Olowo”.

Davido was spotted at the mall where a fan blessed him with N1m.

Davido who also took to his social media handle on Wednesday to solicit for supports from his amiable friends and fans; requesting for N1m from each ahead, over his would-be birthday on Friday.

Thus, “We rise by lifting others abi? Me I don dey rise dey lifting others for the past 100 years. So, I want to know who my friends are. All of my friends one one million Naira. They said we are 30BG. If you don’t send your own. You out of here. You are gone (sic)”, he said.

However, he received over N53m in cash transfers in less than one hour after asking colleagues for N1m. So far, the money received by the pop star has amounted N155m and, still counting.
