Luck ran out on man who has been impersonating as a lawyer in Lagos since 2015 after he was arrested by undercover officers of Lagos State Police Command attached to Ojo Police station.
The man, Mr. Uche Julian Nwajiakwu was arrested on the 25th of May, as he attempted to get bail for his client at Ojo Magistrate court.
Mr. Nwajiakwu was not the first fake lawyer to be arrested in Ojo Magistrate court. Ealier this year, precisely on the 6th of February, one Chris Elisha who had been in legal practice for 15 years was arrested.
Police investigations revealed that Mr. Nwajiakwu did not study Law in any University in the world so he was charged with impersonation.
He said he fell in love with the profession after a friend told him to impersonate as a lawyer and serve his tenants quit notice. He added that the money he received from that action was much so he decided to continue the game.
It is now game over for him.
