Emotional! Nollywood Actress, Eucharia Anunobi Speaks About Her Son’s Death

News about the death of Raymond Ekwu, son of Nollywood superstar, Eucharia Anunobi is still keeping the entertainment industry and the actress’s family and friends in a mood of mourning.

Eucharia has finally commented on the incident.

NET reached out to the grieving mother a short while ago and she confirmed the passing of her son.

‘Thank you, I appreciate it. My son has gone to our place of origin (heaven) to be with our daddy Jesus, waiting for me when I eventually go there at the fullness of time.’

Raymond was the only child Eucharia had by her ex-husband, Charles Ekwu, in 2002. He had been with Sickle Cell Anemia from birth. He died on Tuesday, August 22.

It was reported that Eucharia did not betray any emotion as she spoke to NET, her voice cracked when they talked about Raymond’s battles with sickle cell anaemia and eventual death at the age of 15. ‘Common, common’, she said, ‘God knows best.’

Eucharia’s marriage to Raymond’s father, Charles, from 2000-2009 ended in a messy divorce that saw the actress slam her husband with a N100 million lawsuit in 2010.
