Disgusting! Akobi Crescent, Surulere Lagos Turns into Garbage Dump After Rainfall Due to Poor Drainage

This is what poor drainage has turned a good street into. According to twitter user GidiTraffic, this disgusting and unbelievable sight is Akobi Crescent, Surulere, Lagos. It turned into a garbage dump because the drainages are blocked. Looks funny but blame nobody whenever you hear of outbreak of disease there.

  1. Not surprised, surulere is the headquarters of all reception events at Lagos mainland, you can see the numbers of disposable food packs, Na poo poo they inside some of those take away Packs .
    Repackaged .

  2. Its really nice seeing their hand work, at-least they wont blame the government for the flood. This people will prefer to dump refuse in the gutter instead of paying PSP little money to dispose the refuse…. Next time they will do the needful

  3. Haha haha

Who are those dumping these refuse?

If nature doesn’t teach us lessons, who will?

  4. Lol i guess they have no one to blame for this but themselves, i want to believe they know better now

i must say the lagosians have actually been through alot of rough times, flood everywhere water has covered most of the areas, and filt has infested the areas we thought were neat

Authorities should act now instead of waiting for floods to recur, and then try to fix the situation
Based on my observations, the public should take the blame of throwing garbage indiscriminately, which has clogged up the drains.Authorities should expedite the project to build a water catchment area for Akobi crescent, surulere Lagos.
We should not wait for disaster to happen. There must be a comprehensive plan to tackle the problem.
