Difference Between Tagline And Slogan

Slogan and Tagline are terms used to achieve brand positioning among target audience. They are both brief, punchy, attention-catching statements used to project the basic unique offers of a business or specific product. The two terms are often used interchangeably but there is a thin line dividing them. The scope of the two terms is slightly different. While the tagline represents an entire business mission, the slogan oftentimes focuses on the goal of a single campaign or unique offers of a single product. The slogan could be referred to as the “now” statement because it is used for one product or campaign and could change from time to time, depending on the theme. But the tagline remains constant and reflects the entire business or company.
