Zlatan Ibile is a name many Nigerians especially entertainment lovers will not find difficult to remember. It’s either you know him based on his fast rising profile as a top rated rap artist in Nigeria or because of his fracas with Tacha fans after he released a diss track on the reality TV star’s alleged ‘body odour’ after she was evicted from the BBNaija 2019 show. Now don’t take this lightly. Tacha is a huge name with huge fan base and sympathy. In fact, many had expected her to win the show until her encounter with the eventual winner, Mercy, sent her packing. Then Zlatan posted the diss song on social media, saying he would release it if he got more likes on the post. He probably never expected the barrage of attacks that came his way after that, including from a high-profile artist and his friend, Naira Marley.
Zlatan eventually offered the olive branch to the fans of Natacha ‘Tacha’ Akide after their nasty row on social media.
Recall that their feud began after Tacha got disqualified from the #BBNaija reality TV show. While her fans, called the Titans, mourned her exit, Zlatan Ibile released a song in which he body-shamed the reality TV star. Her fans wanted opportunity to fight back. So when he got nominated for the Next Rated category of the Headies Awards, the Titans campaigned against him and voted for Mavin star Rema, who eventually won the category.
Zlatan did not address that loss, did not show how much that hurt, until he won two awards at the AFRIMMA show in Dallas, and he took to his Twitter to flaunt his plaques, mocking the Titans and prompting yet another row.
Eventually, he succumbed after a heated exchange with Tacha’s fierce army (The Titans) and took to social media to declare his love not only for Tacha but also for the Titans.
This seemed not to douse the tension as Tacha eventually blocked Zlatan from her social media platforms indicating that the feud was still on.
