  • Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojuwu University (COOU) graduated her first set of Medical Doctors on Thursday 17th December 2015.
  • In 2005, about 60 students gained admission to read medicine at the University but only 13 graduated with Dr. Umeh Makuo and Dr Ikegwuonu Chukwudi emerging with distinctions in their final M.B.B.S.
  • The first set of doctors to graduate from the Medical College of the Odumegwu Ojukwu University Igbariam in Anambra State were given automatic employment by the government of Anambra State in 2016.
  • This announcement was made on Tuesday, February 2, 2016, during the induction of the set of 13 pioneer medical doctors that graduated from the College after ten years of strenuous efforts by the university to garner the necessary accreditation

  1. Studying medicine requires a lot of preparation and full concentration. They are not like other departments. Anyways congratulations to all who made it at last.
