COOU Graduate of Mass Comm Becomes Mega Nollywood Director, Shoots First Movie

Ken Okeke graduated from the Department of Mass Communication, Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University (COOU), in 2013. He actually graduated with very good Second Class Upper (2.1) result but instead of trekking about with his C.V looking for who will enslave him in the name of white collar job, he immediately moved into the movie industry. He passed through serious training before delving into acting, and directing.

Ken, popularly known as Kendy Okeke in the Nollywood industry has featured in movies aired on Africa Magic Urban. He played a key role in the movie ‘Home Invasion’ which was sponsored by Africa Magic after which it was aired on their station. Kendy earned his first major cash as a Nollywood star from that movie. He also played a major role in another chart-bursting movie entitled ‘Undead’ which is only on YouTube. He then directed the movie ‘Retaliate’ which was his first as a director. Kendy was tutored by directors who trained in some of the best Film Schools in the US.

Today, Kendy has just concluded his first movie as Executive Producer. He also acted in the movie entitled ‘Professional Neighbours. The movie prominent Nollywood stars among which are Ngozi Ezeonu, Fred Ebere, Angel Ufuoma, Prince Nolly, and Kendy himself.

All those who know Kendy should re-establish contact with him now that he is rising because we see him ending up in Hollywood one day.
