COOU! Dr. Agbanu Becomes New HOD of Mass Comm. Dept.

 

Dr. Venatus Nosike Agbanu has become the new Head of Department of Mass Communication, Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University (COOU).

Dr. Agbanu who is an Associate Professor of Mass Communication took over from Dr. Frank Nnaemeka as the new boss of the department.

The appointment was made known on Friday, May 18.

It could be recalled that Dr. Agbanu has remarkable experience as he had served as Head of the same department for four years. It was during Dr. Agbanu’s administration that the current Mass Communication complex was built.

Dr. Agbanu is also well grounded in research especially in his area of interest which is Propaganda and Public Opinion, with occasional foray into print media studies.
