Commercial Sex Workers in Kenya to Suspend Services on Election Day


Commercial sex workers in Kenya formed an advocacy group call ‘Smart Ladies’ which they use to make their voices heard. In a county called Nakuru, over 600 registered sex workers have vowed to suspend services to the public on 7th August so they can wake up early on 8th August to cast their vote, according to their spokesperson, Lucia Njeri.
