A 400 level student of the Department of Mass Communication, Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University (COOU), formerly Anambra State University, Chioma Chikaogwu has been selected as the overall best student in Visual/Non-verbal Communication.

The selection was made through a thorough screening process following a Costume/Makeup competition tagged “Zombie Quiz” which was organized by Massmediang, an online news platform, to select the best students in the use of ¬†theatrical/film makeup in communication, including expression of meanings through choreographic dance.

Chioma Chikaogwu and Stella Odike came up with impressive creative makeup that expressed their roles brilliantly. They both tied at first position with Chioma placed as overall best.

These two students produced makeup and non-verbal performances, including the process of articulating the best colours and expressions to use in enhancing Zombie roles which marked them out among over 100 other contestants in the competition.

The second position went to Precious Udekwe who combined mild costume with makeup to produce one of the scariest entries in the competition.
