A Malaysian man has stashed cash worth thousands of dollars into his late father’s coffin as a way of paying him bad for being a good dad.
Following the demise of his father, the Malaysian man strove to give his old man the best send-off he could manage.
During the burial on January 16th, the unnamed man filled the coffin with notes worth 30,000 Malaysian Ringgits (Sh792,000) , China Press reported.
Pictures of the coffin filled with notes have since gone viral on social media, with reports indicating that the man’s act was a way of repaying his father.
In 2017, Ugandan tycoon and Zari Hassan’s ex-husband Ivan Ssemwanga was laid to rest in a similar fashion as wads of cash and champagne was poured into his grave.
The flamboyant Ivan, also referred to as the king of Rich Gang, was buried in Nakalilo village, Central Uganda.
However, months later, unknown people vandalised the grave but a concrete wall in the grave stopped the tomb raiders from reaching the body.
