Beware! “Majority of Journalists in Kumasi, Ghana are Voodooists” – Veteran Ghana Reporter Alleges

A Veteran Ghanaian Journalist, Odifuo Kwabena Asare has alleged that journalists in his country were tearing down their colleagues through the use of ‘juju’, advising them to desist from such act.

Kwabena is popularly called ‘Otwinoko’. He has not been active on the media scene for some years now due to his illness but currently works with Accra-based Hot FM.

Ghana web reports that according to Kwabena, majority of Journalists especially those in the Kumasi metropolis engage in voodooism just to destroy their colleagues’ hard earned reputation.

He indicated that most journalists’ hearts are filled with envy, jealousy, hatred hence tends to haunt their own colleagues.

Otwinoko admitted that he is a victim of black magic attributing his sickness to calculated efforts by his detractors to kill him.

He observed that most journalists pull their colleagues down in order to win favours from media owners and the public.

Otwinoko wondered why journalists are unable to work in harmony to foster the development of their various media houses and the country at large but resort to pulling each other down through gossips and deity consultations.
