Anglican Students Fellowship (ASF) of Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University (COOU), Igbariam Campus, on Sunday, June 4, held her final year send forth/Thanksgiving amidst loads of testimonies.
The event which was held at Political Science hall, was witnessed by the Chaplain, Chapel of The Transfiguration of Christ (CTTC), COOU Igbariam campus, Rev. Canon Rowland Obi and ASF chapter president, Jeoleson Mmadueme.
Speaking at the event, the Final Year Coordinator, Bro. Victor Okonkwo, told his outgoing colleagues that they were a chosen people, a royal priesthood and a holy nation, adding that they should desist from sinful desires as they graduate into the society.
He urged them not to live Christ as they were living school but should go with Him all the days of their lives.
Also speaking, the president of ASF, Bro. Kingsley Oguzie congratulated the students for withstanding the stress of studying for four years in the university and urged them to remain in Christ as they went into the larger society to begin a new phase of their existence on earth.
The event witnessed the giving of certificates to the out-going students by the Chaplain, Canon Obi.
