Another Rochas Okorocha’s Flyover Begins To Sink

Motorists in Owerri, Imo State capital, plying the flyover across Okigwe/Orji road, by former Orji mechanic village, are now exposed to danger as the flyover is beginning to show signs of dilapidation.

The flyover was constructed and opened to public use by former governor of the state and Senator representing Imo West, Rochas Okorocha.

On top of the flyover, there is a spot that seems to be sinking on one of the lanes.

Tires were used to cover the spot due to the danger it posed to motorists.

Some observers are of the opinion that the bridge should be closed to motorists while the structure is re-examined to check its strength and safety.

I wonder why the road constructors use Substandard concrete to construct the roads…Is better to leave the dilapidated roads the way it is, rather than setting a trap on roads, all in the name of construction.
